Gustavsberg, best known for porcelain factory of the same name, is a center of Värmdö municipality outside Stockholm. The place was before 1640 called Farsta after a palace owned by Gabriel Oxenstierna. Gabriel chosed to rename the place to honor his father Gustaf.
Gustavsberg 1974 became part of Värmdö municipality.
